Breast Cancer Sucks!  My sister Dixie has stage 3 breast cancer and has undergone aggressive chemo. Now she is at the next step in her recovery, a double mastectomy.  Unfortunately, just 5 days before her surgery the insurance provider canceled her policy due to her 90 days of disability. 

As she is now scrambling to find medical coverage my sister was forced to sign up with Cobra insurance. This insurance will now cost her family an outrageous $2,000 a month to be able to have a life saving surgery and then radiation to follow.

If you know my sister she will give you the shirt off her back and then some.  She is an absolute love and prefers to be at the giving end of the deal, and that is why she is hesitant to allow me to put up this post.  My wish is not to embarrass her and I hope I can honor her with this post.  The reality is this insurance is way  beyond what most can afford and it is with request if you feel so lead to help with her monthly insurance please feel free to add a donation.
