Roberts Road to Recovery

Donation protected
On August 13, 2020, my sister Cheryl Gusz Dinapoli, and my  brother Robert Rischman were both shot in their home in Levittown  NY.     In a heroic attempt to save our sister  and after being shot several times himself,  Robert  fought with and restrained the gunman until police arrived.   He remains hospitalized to this day with wounds to vital organs and limbs.   Cheryl did not survive.

The wounds he has suffered both physically and mentally, will affect him for the rest of his life.   He has a long road ahead of him  filled with grueling rehabilitation and medical care.   After which  he will have to find a new place to live and will be unable to return to work.  His life as he knew it is forever gone and as a reminder of that  horrible night- he will carry a bullet in his lung forever-

Nothing can bring back our sister, but we all must go on,  and Robert  is still fighting for his life today as he was on that night.  It’s going to be a long battle for him.   Nobody deserves this senseless domestic violence.

PLEASE HELP US HELP ROBERT !!!   Today,  Sept 9 is his 60th birthday.  We will not be able to celebrate with him...  Covid 19 has taken that from us too...  Any donation to aid in Roberts'  financial recovery,  while he focuses on his rehabilitation is profoundly appreciated.   Thank you for listening to my story.
