Help Save Bambi

I found a vet that will do the surgery for 1/2 of the cost!!!   Thank you for sharing or I would have never gotten the message about the other vet!  Bambi is a rescued dog from a puppy mill who has spent the last couple of years helping other rescue dogs become acclimated to a new life.  My daughter and I began fostering Bambi in April of 2018 and she quickly became a permanent member of our little family.  During her time with us, Bambi has help countless other foster dogs become comfortable and adjust to a new life outside of a cage.  In late 2019, Bambi began having seizures and has been on medication to help control them.  Last week, Bambi had cluster seizures and was admitted to Advanced Vet Services to monitor her breathing during her seizures.  It was discovered that she has an elongated soft pallet that obstructs her airway and it requires surgery.  I have been able to cover these costs so far.  However, as a single mom the surgery with Veterinary Specialty Services will be difficult for me.  They have given me an estimated cost between $1800-$2000.  If she does not have this procedure, she will likely suffocate when she has another seizure and I cannot let this happen to her.  The first 6 years of her life were awful and she is finally living a good life and being loved how she deserves to be.  I am very uncomfortable asking for help, but I don't have a lot of options at this point.  Anything would help and be so appreciated by myself and my daughter.
