Bust Bills & Beat Breast Cancer with Jennifer

Donation protected
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
We are grateful that even though Jennifer was diagnosed with breast cancer in December, she has completed all 6 rounds of tough chemo and had her bi-lateral mastectomy last Tuesday. We are comforted that the first results of the pathology show no residual cancer!! She has been through so much and been tough and resilient throughout! A fierce fighter to kick cancer's butt!! But we also have some challenging news-
Last night 6/9 their house was overcome by fire and may be a total loss. Thankfully, the children were staying with their grandparents in Lexington due to Jennifer's recuperation, and Jennifer and Michael and their dog got out safely.
But, layered on top of the already difficult situation they have been facing with Jenn's illness, this will add to the financial struggle they already faced. Thanks everyone and please keep all of us in your prayers. Please reach out to Jadie Heberlein vía FB if you want to help but are unable to donate monetarily.

*****

In December 2018, Jennifer Schlumpf was diagnosed with breast cancer.   She has been bravely undergoing aggressive chemotherapy every 3 weeks since January to defeat this illness.  While she has a stable job as a dental hygienist, and her husband Michael has a steady position in leadership at Lowe’s, she has been unable to work as much as in the past.  Michael has had to take on additional responsibilities at home with their two children, aged 2 and 8, which have interfered with his hours as well.  Now, after 5 rounds of chemo, she has been admitted to the hospital with an infection and is anticipating more medical costs, as well as her upcoming mastectomies in June.  From there she will continue chemo for several rounds for the remainder of the year, and possibly more treatment in 2020.

In adding up her accrued medical debt and the anticipated costs for this year, the Schlumpf family is in dire need of financial support.  Your contribution will be going directly to paying her bills at Community Hospital North in order to keep them from going to collections and impacting her credit.  Your gift will not only lift Jennifer, but her whole family now and in the future from this time of intense financial pressure.

She has received so many helpful gifts and cards and dinners and is so very thankful.  If you have the means, please consider giving a monetary donation to help Jennifer and her family.
