Australian Bush Fire Emergency Fund Raiser

Australia is facing the worst bush fires that we have ever seen, and so far, a staggering one billion animals are estimated to have perished. Thousands of homes have been lost, tens of thousands of people have been evacuated, and over 20 people have lost their lives in the fires. 

My name is Alexandra - better known as Pretty Pastel Please on YouTube. I set up this Go Fund Me page as a way for my audience to donate to Australian Bush Fire Relief. Every cent counts - please never feel like your donation isn't enough. Even if you can only afford to donate a few dollars, every single cent counts, and will help us rebuild our beautiful nation, and rehabilitate our precious wildlife.  I will be withdrawing the funds directly into my own bank account, and from there will be distributing them between wildlife rescue organisations, fire fighters and victims of the fires. 

On Saturday January the 18th I hosted a fundraiser in Sydney where we raised $17,662.85 - at the time of writing this we have raised $30,000 on Go Fund Me, so in total we've raised almost $50,000! I would like to donate to several organisations around Australia, and am currently researching which would be the best choices. 

At the moment, I would like to split the total and donate to these charities:

WILDLIFE:
WIRES (NSW)
Wildlife Victoria (newly added to list after raising more than the original goal)
Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park Fund (newly added to list after raising more than the original goal)

FIRE FIGHTERS:
NSW Rural Fire Service
Country Fire Association Victoria (newly added to list after raising more than the original goal)
Country Fire Association South Australia (newly added to list after raising more than the original goal)

VICTIMS OF THE FIRES:
I'm currently looking into the best way to donate directly to those affected by the fires. Update to come.
