Tragic Bus Accident Fund
Donation protected
On January 18, a transit bus caught fire and exploded in the steppes of Kazakhstan, killing 52 Uzbek labor migrants who were trapped inside. They were on their way to Russia to search for jobs.
52 young souls lost their lives in desperate search of employment opportunities. They wanted to provide for their families who will not see them again. They left behind young children, unemployed spouses and old disabled parents.
We've started this campaign, in collaboration with celebrity chef Bahriddin Chustiy, to collect funds that will be distributed to the families of the victims in Uzbekistan. Your donations will go to those who not only lost their family member, but also lost their only source of livelihood.
Volunteers on the ground have already been in touch with the families of the victims. The proceeds of this campaign will be sent to Uzbekistan, divided equally and delivered to the victims' families.
Please donate.
Any amount counts.
God bless you.

UPDATE: Upon suggestion from the GoFundMe team, I would like to address these two questions:
First, 50 of 52 victims were from a small village in the Ferghana valley of Uzbekistan, where both myself and the other organizer celebrity chef Bakhriddin Chustiy come from. A great deal of outreach effort has been made by social media activist and lawyer Xushnudjon Xudoyberdiev.

Second, how I intend to deliver the donations to beneficiaries. I will withdraw the funds collected through GoFundMe and transfer them to celebrity chef Chustiy. The funds will then be distributed to the victims' families directly by celebrity chef Chustiy and social media activist Xushnudbek Xudoyberdiev in Uzbekistan. Each and every penny collected to date has been widely reported through our social media pages. Here's a testament of beneficiaries receiving donations from our team:
