Wanda Strickland Memorial Fund

Wanda, my sister, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer about a year ago. At first, they treated her aggressively with radiation and chemo. Eventually they were forced to give up due to the treatment causing more harm than good because the cancer was spreading so fast. Through her later stages of sickness, a few insurance premiums were missed causing the policy to lapse. This has left the rest of the family scrambling to raise enough money to cover the cost of the funeral and burial, not to mention outstanding medical expenses.  This is a trying time for us as a family as we are trying to give her the burial and service that she deserves, as I'm sure any family members would feel after losing a member. She is survived by three daughters, one son and one grand-daughter. She turned 41 years old this past June. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated. She passed away this past Thursday September 7th. We are still currently trying to rasie the money in hopes of having the funeral and services this week, the week of September 11th.
