Burial and funeral costs - collection for Bereket’s family

My name is Aggie, and together with Bereket’s brother Michael we made this fundraiser to take home our tragically deceased Bereket.

This death has greatly touched the whole of our Stevenage community, and a lot of people from our workplace, so we would like to help the family with the costs of the funeral and possible transport of the body.

Bereket had come to England from Country with war as a teenager and was granted asylum in the UK. He was a permanent resident of Stevenage, where he came to seek refuge and where his life has been brutally taken away from him.

He joined our workplace over a year ago and was an extremely dedicated worker and a great colleague. Bereket's family still lives in his war torn home country. Recently his brother came to the UK and all the funds collected here will be transferred to him.

It has not been decided yet whether Bereket's farewell will be here or he will be taken to his country. However, any support given to the family will be much appreciated.
