A Blessing for Danae (Nae Nae)

Fathers Day this year (2014) my brother David celebrated as he always has in recent years with his two youngest children Danae (8) and Davey (6). As many single parents, David is often charged with various tasks to care for his children and raise them well. From parent/teacher conferences, book fairs, children's birthday parties, field trips, etc. David's job has always been to be there and care for his children through sickness and in health. However, little did he and my little niece know that they were about to be in for the fight of their lives!
Two days after Father's Day, my niece Danae Ellen Ann Kirklen was diagnosed with a rae form of leukemia. Wow! Danae has cancer, a very surreal feeling for anyone and their parents and family. From this point, everything has happened SO fast for our family and specifically for Danae and her Dad. From extended hospital stays, tests, chemotherapy treatments, and emergency trips back and forth to the hospital by ambulance (as Danae's system has been slow responding to her treatments) this fight has already been a tough road from the start with mounting expenses.
My brother himself has for the last several years been awaiting a heart transplant as he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2005. Therefore, David's family's finances is mostly what he receives monthly from his disability income.
Danae's family (myself) Derrick Kirklen, affectionately known as "Uncle" Derrick, and my mother Sylvia Carman, fondly and warmly known as "Nana" are asking for your heart felt help/assistance to help cover medical supplies that Danae needs for home care and ongoing treatment that is not covered by insurance. I am humbly asking all who know our family and even those who don't who may just happen to receive this message to keep us lifted in prayer and find it in your heart to provide what you can to help us reach this established goal.
