Moving books from Australia to Fiji

Every child deserves the opportunity to receive an education, regardless of where they live.
In partnership with 'Vinaka Fiji Volunteering', we are aiming to fundraise $4000 to move over 100 boxes of books, stationery and educational resources to schools in the Yasawa Islands off the north-west coast of Fiji.
Being under-resourced and lacking educational support are just two of the challenges facing the remote schools of the Yasawa Islands. Vinaka Fiji Volunteering supports schools and teachers by assisting with classroom teaching (in English) based on the Fijian National curricular, through classwork, literacy games and educational activities.
Providing these schools with plenty of books to read, resources to use and activities to learn with is just one small way that we can support children's education.
These schools provide girls and boys with the opportunities to receive an education despite their remoteness and make their dreams a reality.
