Building Mohonasen HS eSports Team

Our Mohonasen High School Gaming Club would like to form an eSports team to compete in NERIC's upcoming season this February. NERIC (Northeast Regional Information Center) will be hosting a spring (February through May 2020) high school esports leagues partnering with PlayVS for a statewide high school competitive gaming league supporting the following games:
League of Legends
Rocket League
SMITE
All three of the games are endorsed by the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) as appropriate for secondary aged students and are played by many schools in several states across the country.
Your donation will help pay for the league entry fees and all the necessary equipment/software.
Esports offer multiple learning opportunities and the NERIC instructional team will provide districts with information on how the games can be integrated into their STEM environment and curricular areas via Model Schools training in collaboration with vendor partners during both seasons. Additionally, they will make connections to the CTE standards and next generation standards.
