Building mission school in Amas, Kidapawan Phil.

  In the Philippines, where I come from ,there are families too poor to send their kids to school. Imagine being one of those poor kids,who through no fault of their own is deprived of an education. How hard would your life be if you couldn't read or write?How many opportunities would you miss out on?

  Now married and living in Adelaide, Australia, I used to teach in a small mission school, Amas Baptist Stork Learning Center,in the city of Kidapawan. Most students came from poor, underprivileged homes and school welcomed them all.It was the school's mission to share God’s love and follow His word, Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.

  I don't have children of my own but I get immense joy and fulfilment in teaching other people's kids.It is a passion instilled by God in my heart,but one I'm not able to pursue in Australia. Distance hasn't stopped my concern and involvement.My husband and some friends have joined me in supporting the school through prayer and financial assistance. 

  The poorest of the poor still have the right to an education. 

  Covid-19 impacted heavily on the school and it has to close temporarily and it was during this time,through some generous donations, construction began on a much needed classroom. It is for this very important project that I'm looking for your support to be able to complete it. For only $10,000AUD the classroom can be finished, ready for the kids to get back to learning, mid next year.

  I am praying that many hearts and lives will be moved by God to share their own financial blessing.
