BUILDING A SHELTER FOR STRAY DOGS IN MEXICO

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue of stray dogs and cats.
For the last 5 years we have taken care of hundreds of animals to ensure they recover good health to find them good, forever-homes.
Right now we are having an emergency on our refugee/home.
The problem is, the shelter is actually just a house and it doesn’t have the right conditions to be a refugee by itself.
We didn’t have any problem, until today.
Recent neighbors do not care about the animals at all, and they are forcing us to close the entire house. We are concerned about our
dogs and cats, we really want to make things right.
We understand the shelter needs relocation, but we really need your help to make that happen in a matter of weeks!
We want to buy some land away from the city. Where our dogs and cats can be free, get well, and find a good home.
This refugee is everything for us.
As you can see in the next pictures, we rescue stray dogs in terrible
conditions, and we really need your help so we can have a safer place for them to recover before they are adopted! We strive to find for them amazing families who can give them this second chance to be happy.
Grace was 8 years old when we found her. She did not have any teeth, ran stray across roads in danger of being killed by vehicles, completely dehydrated. Now she is a happy dog looking for her new home.
In this next picture Grace can be seen running at the beach. A small photoshoot was held for her, to improve her chances to find a family.
Many people look for our help so we can take the ones who need to be rescued.Once they are ready we neuter/spay and vaccinate them.
We we then take them twice a month to adoption campaigns looking for great families for our rescued dogs.
Hercules, one of the many dogs we still have, is 4 years old, looking for a chance to be happy. In this last picture he is with us in an adoption
camaign.
I know this picture can be hard to see but this is the perfect explanation for the reason we want to start this new shelter.
There are so many dogs in extremely bad
conditions. To give them the chance to get better has been always our priority.
The fact that we can see them so strong and
happy, and full of energy gives us the reason to do this.
We have dogs and cats that went through horrible things, people who mistreated them, dogs with dehydration and anemia, cancer, tumors,
broken legs ...
This one is Mariano, he had two broken legs and his blood got infected. And now he is a smart healthy dog who just got adopted
a few months ago!
We also have rescued a lot of older dogs who spent their entire life hiding from people who did not want them.
Many of them never had the luck to get a
warm and safe bed.
For example, this is Grandma. She was 10
years old and was living in horrible
conditions.
Someone saw her in the middle of nowhere, and asked us for help.
Once we took her she started treatment and good food
And in a few months she was the biggest healthy and beautiful girl
She got adopted a few years ago and they where so happy to give her
her last years full of love .
I know this may be too much, but she is one of the reason we started
our shelter for the ones that needed them the most.
She was a 3 years old little girl who had papiloma... her entired body
was damaged
We were so happy when she gained weight and little by little all the
surgeries helped her a lot!
That was a few years ago and this is the reason why we do this
