Build the Gryphon Games&Comics CoOp

Overview

For 13 years, Gryphon Games and Comics has served the Northern Colorado community by offering a friendly place for fans of comics and games to get together, have fun, and enjoy their fandoms. In addition to a store and coffee shop, Gryphon provides gathering spaces for gaming and events free of charge.  These spaces host weekly Magic and Dungeons & Dragons nights, as well as some of the largest Pokemon tournaments in the country!

However, the time has come where Gryphon must take steps to change, and that change is taking the shape of a Co-Op. By becoming a cooperatively-managed business, the inclusive culture and thriving communities of Gryphon Games and Comics can be ensured for years to come. Gryphon will be run by the community, for the community!

Setting up a co-op is not without its costs. From lawyer and accountant costs to advertising to keeping the store at peak operations as we head into the holidays, many costs pile up during the transition. 

This is the first game and comic book store to attempt to make this change we and believe it is the wave of the future!

The comic and game industry is changing at a rapid pace and stores need to run to stay ahead of the changes and keep the business successful. 

To help us through the transition to become the first store of our type, we ask you to consider contributing. Even $10 can make a difference as we gather our founding Co-Op members!

If you live locally, we encourage you to learn more about the Gryphon Co-Op and consider becoming a member! In order to become a member you must be able to come into the store to set up your membership. Find the next meeting or watch a previous presentation .

If you want to support the transition but do not live locally, we ask that you contribute to this campaign or purchase something from our online store !
