Build Grotto

Help Brother John a Capuchin Friar to build a Grotto dedicated to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in rural Kenya.

This parish is only one year old and is very poor. 

In 2019 during it's consecration, Bishop John Owaa Ibukawas was planting a tree and as he was watering the tree,  the water droplets formed the beads of the Holy Rosary.  (see photo attached)

How apt that a new Christian parish dedicated to the Holy Rosary, got such a sign from our Lady.

In this exact spot, the Friars are now planning to build a Grotto dedicated to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in thanksgiving.

Funds will be used to build the Grotto, buy a statue of Our Lady, create a water feature and add lights.  

Brother John has already built a similar Grotto in a previous parish, (photo attached)  so we know exactly how much money we need to raise.

This is a new parish with little resources. 

They are currently trying to save money for a car so that the Friars can visit parishioners in outlying areas. 

They do not have the means to build this Grotto themselves, which is why your support through donations will be so gratefully received.

We would like this money raised by 15th August 2020, which is the Feast of The Assumption where we plan to have a world wide Rosary Rally during which Brother John and parishioners from this parish in Kenya will join us to pray the Holy Rosary in gratitude for all the money donated during this campaign.
