Build A Well For Dino Nasir

My name is Mariam Musse. I am from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The purpose of this GoFundMe is to raise money to build a well in Africa on behalf of our beloved Dino Nasir. The funds will go towards Masjid Ibada Rahman in Somalia. The funds will be sent via international certified cheque. Dino was a very close friend of mine that I have known for years. Every dollar raised will go towards building a well for Dino.
We are deeply saddened by the unexpected loss of our dear friend Dino Nasir on Friday January 19th, 2018. Dino was a beloved son, brother, neighbour, and friend. He always had the most beautiful smile on his face. His laughter was extremely contagious. Dino was always there for anyone in need without hesitation. He was a kind personal and a very caring soul. He will be remembered for his loving nature and the impact he made on everyone he met. Unfortunately, he was taken from us too soon and will be missed dearly. May Allah (swt) have mercy on Dino and accept his deeds.
The community is coming together to raise funds to build a well in his name and donate to a mosque as well. God-willing, the well will provide people in a remote location in Somalia access to fresh, clean water.
If we exceed our fundraising goal, we will give the excess amount towards a charity of his family’s choice.
Please donate generously – any amount whether large or small that you are able to donate will help us establish this sadaqah jariyyah (continuous charity) for Dino. We hope that this act of charity benefits him and brings much needed comfort to his grieving family.
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) said, "Three things will benefit a person after they pass away: Knowledge that they leave behind that people benefit from, a continuing charity (sadaqah jaariyah), and a righteous child that will seek forgiveness for their parents."
O Lord, grant forgiveness to Dino Nasir. Elevate him among those who are near to You. Take charge of his family at all times. Forgive us and him, O Lord of the Worlds. Widen his grave and make it light for him. Grant his family patience, tranquility, and contentment with Your decree. Elevate them in status and reunite them with all whom they love in paradise where there is no more suffering, pain, or sadness.
