Build a Country Farm Store

We have a small farm in Eastern NC where we raise animals and grow produce with love alongside our four small children.

We have a dream of opening a store on our farm. We just began renovations on an old farmhouse here on the farm- we're hoping to revive it and make it a gathering place once more. Where great-grandma once cooked meals for the farmers and family here, we want to serve our community. We hope to provide a place for the community to gather, grow and learn. This will be where we bake and serve, where we hold classes and teach children and adults about growing, harvesting and preserving their food, and where people come to relax.

In our wildest dreams, we would be able to build a commercial kitchen and processing facility. This facility would serve as a place where we could prepare meals made with locally sourced ingredients to serve those in need. It would be a place where people could gather together for family reunions or school field trips. A place where people would find treasures from local producers of all kinds. We want to preserve history here, bring people closer to their food, and be a welcoming 'happy' place for people from miles around.
