Bucky's Hospital Bills

Those of you that know Shelby and Dennis have seen first hand their passion for helping animals and animal rescues. Shelby has been doing fundraisers and volunteering at animal rescues for over seven years.

Shelby and Dennis adopted Bucky in 2015. He was a southern gent found abandon in the south with a BB bullet in chest. He was heartworm positive, had major food allergies, Ehrlichia and was not one to smile. 

With Shelby and Dennis' love and consitant medical treatments, Bucky became a brand new dog! Look at the smile in his photo! They even adopted another southern gent named Boone once Bucky was healthy again. 

Now Shelby, Dennis and Bucky need our help. Shelby and Dennis rushed Bucky to the ER Vet Friday evening after he showed signs of labored breathing and extreme fatigue. Medical tests quickly showed what could be a tumor on his lungs, first stages of Chronic Kidney Disease and Aspiration Pnemonia. When admitted his oxygen level was in the 70s and his heart rate was well above 200. He is now being hospitalized 24/7 on oxygen until at least Monday. 

Shelby and Dennis both did not want to ask for money but they need our help now more than ever. Every night he stays in the hospital is $1,000.  I know their bill will far exceed the goal set on this GoFundMe. However, if for some reason he is able to come home early and his bill does not exceed to the raised amount, all extra amounts will be donated to AHOD (All Hounds on Deck). AHOD, 501(c)3, rescues hounds from death, provides complete veterinary care for each dog and places them in homes around the U.S. and Canada.
