Hello, my fiancee and I are getting married in December.
She has an amazing story. She was born with a fatal heart condition that wasn't discovered until she was an adult. She had open heart
surgery to correct the defect, and the fact that she survived to adulthood with the heart condition undetected was miraculous. She's had
multiple heart attacks in her life which has greatly damaged her heart. She is on her third implanted cardiac defibrillator which is a device
that restarts her heart every time it fails, which unfortunately, is quite often. Her doctors say that her heart is so bad now due to all the
scarring and muscle damage that she needs a transplant. Sadly, she can't have one because she is allergic to so many medications that taking
anti-rejection drugs could be fatal. We were recently in a car accident and upon testing for injuries, we found out that she has cancer and
is suffering from critical liver failure. As with the inability to have a transplant for her heart, she is also not eligible for a liver
transplant. She is running out of time. We were originally going to get married on our one year anniversary of the day we met, January 25th,
2014, But due to her failing health and multiple medical problems, we have moved the wedding date up because we want to be married for as
long as time allows. I would also like to take her on a honeymoon. Her favorite place in the whole world is Walt Disney World, she even wants
her ashes to be scattered there after her death. I want to be able to take her to her "Happy Place", as she calls it, for a honeymoon so we
can make as many happy memories together while we still have time. Donations will go toward wedding expenses and a honeymoon fund. I do not
have the money to give her a dream wedding or take her on a honeymoon without help. Thank you so much for your donations.
