Buchanan's Little Buck Book Mobile

A group of Buchanan community members are volunteering their time this summer to start a book mobile. The Book Mobile will be a travelling library where children can come choose books to take home and read. This will be completely free to families so if books are damaged or not returned there will be no penalty or fee.
Reading is a fundamental skill that children need to be successful but access to interesting and age appropriate reading material can be a problem.
This is why we started this program. It is not currently receiving any funding so it is relying heavily on donations and community members spending their own money on supplies. Here’s how you can help!
We are aiming to raise $5,000 more this year to help us acquire a vehicle and renovate shelving.
