We have made a decision to ask our family,friends,acquaintances and
any kind hearted visitors who come across this story to stretch out a helping hand. Whether it’s one penny or $100 your assistance is deeply appreciated. Before Akita was diagnosed with ovarian cancer she was the most outgoing, loving and only wanted to make sure you were well taken cared of kind of person. Akita cared about making others happy so much that she took the opportunity to work abroad in Turks and Caicos at the very popular and well known Beaches Resort where she had to resign due to the attacking nature of the disease we call cancer. At the age of 32 this case of cancer is so aggressive that it has now spread to her liver causing her body to reject chemo therapy. Surgery was an option for Akita but doctors have came to the conclusion that her current strength and condition will not permit her to do so.The few specialist she has spoken with have not given her any hope that there is light at the end of this long tunnel. Unable to treat using chemo therapy the recommendations that were given to her is that to manage her pain is home care. Once there is breath there is hope, so we have decided to seek assistance else where and continue the fight specifically at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Georgia. The doctors at this institution are very well known in this field so we are very optimistic about having an opportunity to travel there. To do so please give Akita a helping hand.
