Hello, I am a sophomore double in ANR and Economics and I am passionate about sustainable agriculture, diplomacy, social entrepreneurship, working with rural communities to increase agricultural production, and community service.
I believe that by participating in the 49th Black Student Union Scholarship Pageant, it will help me build a good service leadership character, develop a sense of advocacy for diversity, and encourage other students to participate in their communal service and people in need besides being proud of their heritage and every baby-step they make towards realizing it.
These funds will help realize the various aspects of the pageant that include decorations, awards, venue, student scholarships, and other necessities that are needed to make the it a success.
Your support will go a long way into making me get this opportunity that will positively impact my life forever. If I win the final prize of $400, I will give $200 to pay high school tuition for two girls in Kenya. This is in honor of two of the greatest women who raised me, my mum and my grandma.
