BSC Adventures - Michigan
Donazione protetta
The Blind Stokers Club Adventures (BSCA) initiative brings group bicycling or other experiences with extra value in location, culture or theme, to BSC members.
The next BSCAdventures trip is bike touring for 8 days along the eastern shoreline of Lake Michigan, August 1-8, 2020. Expenses are estimated $1,700 per person, for transportation, lodging, and meals. The goal of $12,000 will allow full or partial sponsorship of 8 or more BSC members with financial need. The funds received from this GoFundMe campaign will be allocated by the BSCAdventures Committee, to augment personal funds of BSC members in good standing who are ready, willing and able to enjoy adventure trips, but cannot afford it.
While Cycling for Sight (CFS) proceeds drive the club’s year-round tandem cycling program, BSCAdventures enable low-income members to realize more far-reaching dreams. Candidates for BSCA sponsorship will have declared a level of financial need at the time of registration, based on the estimated project cost model.
Any funds not allocated under the pending BSCAdventures project will be carried over to the next such project, offered annually. In this instance, ungranted donations of $650 from the 2019 BSCA-Borrego (see testimonials and photos ) campaign have been rolled over to the 2020 BSCA-Michigan campaign.
Tip: when donating, alter GFM tip amount using "Other" selection.
