B's Domestic Abuse Recovery Fund

A dear friend of mine was assaulted in her home by her husband in the presence of their 15 month old daughter where he dragged her across the room, yanking her up and down and ripping her pants.

This was after already escaping his abuse and trying to start over. He was arrested and is currently in jail on assault causing bodily injury to a family member. Previous abuse included choking her multiple times, spitting in her face, punching her, grabbing her face and squeezing with all of his strength, grabbing her arms so tight leaving bruises in the shape of his fingers, throwing large objects at her and throwing her across rooms.

She has had to leave the temporary place she

was able to call home for a while once again having to start over with no financial help, currently staying in a hotel that some incredible friends have put her in.

She picked up her life and moved to the states for her husband and was a stay at home wife turned into mom, devoting all of her time into caring for her husband and daughter. She has unfortunately been forced into a situation where she has no family in this country and just a handful of helpful friends supporting her through this heartbreaking time while facing a fight to stay afloat to support her daughter.

This goal may seem like a lot but this is to help B move on with her life without her abuser. She needs financial help to have a long term place to stay, providing for her and her child.
