Brylee's Medical Fund

I've decided to start this GoFundMe as a good friend of Savannah's family due to their youngest daughter's recent medical crisis. At one month old, Brylee was diagnosed with a severe VSD (a hole in the wall of the heart separating the two lower chambers). About a month later, she was also diagnosed with congestive heart failure.

Babies with heart complications sometimes have trouble nursing or taking a bottle due to the amount of energy it takes to keep their heart functioning. Because of this she is unable to eat orally and has been placed on a feeding tube. Even with the assistance of a feeding tube, Bylee isn't gaining adequate weight. Now at 3.5 months she is still only 2 pounds heavier than her birth weight, causing concern for her growth and development.

Along with her issue gaining weight Brylee is having diffuculty breathing, especially when asleep. From the time of diagnosis to current she has become weaker and much more critical.

Brylee has been placed on many different medications and suppliments to keep her alive. However the family's insurance company is only covering a tiny portion.  Jay (Brylee's father) has been off work since her diagnosis and is currently not receiving any income or assistance from the government. Savannah is on maternity leave but with two older children and life's expenses this doesn't leave enough for Brylee's medical needs. Between travelling expenses for appointments, hospital parking, food, rent, child care for her older two during hospital visits, medical supplies and Jay being off work, the family is suffering both financially and emotionally. 

Brylee is awaiting heart surgery which we are all hopeful will save her life. However the mdecial team is hesitant to put her under anesthetic with her being as unstable as she is. In such a devastating time as this, I'm hoping to raise enough money for Savannah's young family to relieve some of the stress this crisis is causing. Please give what you can, any little bit helps. The family was originally uncomfortable accepting help but at this point it's critical.
