Bryan's Stage IV cancer jouney

Donation protected
I'm reaching out to help a friend in need. Any help whatsoever goes a long way and life is precious, at times it's hard to ask for help but is so critical to have support during life's curve-balls.

Bryan and Rachel’s life’s have been rocked due to a recent diagnosis of Bryan having Stage IV laryngeal cancer that has also been found in his lungs. It was formally diagnosed on Sept 21 by Dr’s at Froedtert while back in May he had a sore throat… It’s been a roller coaster since with biopsies and highs/lows. Bryan had to get a very impromptu tracheotomy due to the cancer impacting his ability to breath and almost making him choke to death. A few weeks in he now since diagnosis and he will be getting a feeding tube as well as starting radiation next week. Rachel has had to learn quite a bit about caring at home for someone in this situation especially with the tracheotomy which included some training on a mannequin. After just celebrating their 5-year wedding anniversary, needless to say this obviously was something their family was not anticipating and who would? Both were working full time like many families do and now have been thrust into life with 1 income all the while trying to navigate through medical bills, appointments, tests etc.. This diagnosis has flipped their life upside down, but both are very positive people with incredible resilience and extremely thankful for the support of friends, family, co-workers and medical staff around them.

If you know them, then you know how nice and amazing people they are. A contagious smile and laugh to pull you out of a bad mood instantly. We included a picture of him with his “girlfriend” the training mannequin so show spirits remain high and positive even in this dire situation. They have been given a very tough life challenge here to overcome and need any/all help available. With Bryan not being able to work on top of day to day financial needs of a house and family, the normal bills coupled with the new medical ones are starting to roll in. Only having the single source of income is hitting hard and will continue to be its own very large challenge. We are hoping to raise $25,000 to cover medical bills, new diet needs costs, medical equipment as well as some of the traditional household expenses that previously were shared across the 2 incomes. Only a few weeks in and already up to $7k in bills ☹

If you cannot provide a financial contribution, we are gladly accepting prayers, good vibes, and sharing of this GoFundMe and Bryan’s story. Cancer is just a word and not a sentence, but the help and support from all of you can make a huge difference in his treatment and recovery process.
