Bryan Raymond Medical Fund

On December 1st, 2020, our lives changed forever from one simple positive test.  Bryan was diagnosed with COVID 19.  When the diagnosis first came, we never imagined we would be where we are today.  Bryan is a young healthy man who works a full time job doing manual labor for the county and  referees high school basketball in his spare time, but COVID hit him hard.
After 9 days of fighting the virus, Bryan's symptoms continued to worsen, so he went to our local emergency room.  Not long after his arrival in the ER Bryan was being flown to the Billings Clinic ICU in Billings MT.
Bryan received continuous bi-pap treatment at his stay in Billings.  Bryan's body was unable to fight the virus and his conditioned worsened.  On December 17, 2020 Bryan had to be intubated and placed on a ventilator.  Just hours later Bryan also had to be put on the ECMO machine.  This machine uses a mechanical lung to oxygenate the blood and hopefully let the lungs heal as they are able to rest.  Unfortunately this did not happen.  Bryan's lungs were not able to heal.
On January 4th, 2021 a bed opened up at the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver CO, and it was decided by Bryan's medical team in Billings that Bryan should be flown to Denver.  Getting this ready came with a lot of work, but on January 7th Bryan was life-flighted to Denver.
Bryan had a wonderful medical team who constantly worked with him trying to get him better.  Unfortunately these efforts again failed.  Bryan's doctors decided the only thing left was to perform a double lung transplant on Bryan.  Up to this point Bryan has still been on ECMO and a ventilator.    Bryan had to work very hard to be able to be placed on the transplant list.  After a few weeks Bryan was able to meet all of his requirements to be put on the transplant list.
On February 25th, 2021 Bryan was officially listed on the transplant list.  Just 8 short days later a donor was found and Bryan was taken in for surgery on March 6th.  Surgery was successful and Bryan is doing well and continuing to work hard in physical therapy and occupational therapy, he has now been moved out of the ICU, but is still in the hospital.  We are hoping in the next week Bryan will be moving to the rehab floor in the hospital.  The hope after that is after 7-14 days Bryan will be released from the hospital.  Once he is released Bryan will be required to stay in Denver a minimum of 3 more months, and once released to go home he will have to make monthly trips back to Denver for doctor appointments.
Although the community has been so generous to the family already, we are hoping to take even more burden off the Raymonds.  Trinity has been in Denver since January 15, and is currently living in the Harlow House that is a rental for families of transplant patients.  With the cost of having all of their normal bills, plus having another house now to pay for, along with the medical bills that continue to pile up and will continue for years, we are hoping to make this burden a little lighter on the Raymond family.
Bryan officially has no income coming in anymore, but Trinity has been able to continue brining in an income with the generous support of her co-workers.  Even with this income it doesn't come even close to covering everything.  Trinity's parents have taken on the task of raising Bryan and Trinity's four children while Bryan and Trinity are in Denver.
This journey has been an emotional rollercoaster for all involved and we appreciate any support you can give.  Above all we covet your prayers as we continue to navigate the road of recovery.
