To create an American-Ukrainian cultural center

Tax deductible

Your help and participation are greatly appreciated.

The Museum "Making of the Ukrainian Nation" is a concrete step in improving the international image of Ukraine, a significant contribution to its cultural and historical heritage.
Our cultural center going to be located in a center of Manhattan, at 261 49th Street, in the same block where are Ukrainian consulates located.

The" Making of the Ukrainian Nation Museum" is the first innovative museum of Ukrainian history, founded in Ukraine. This museum is where the past is combined with modern technologies, and is the inspiration for our project to be built here in New York City, The American-Ukrainian Cultural Center.
As a museum, all expositions are made based on historical research and have a scientific justification. A large team of scientists and experts have worked on its creation, including historians, archaeologists, ethnographers, sculptors, and designers.
The American-Ukrainian Cultural Center will be located on 4 floors with a total area of 16,000 square feet. It is intended to be the center of the future, a place that every tourist must visit.
Through the curated display of glorious moments of Ukrainian history, our mission is to promote the spirit of patriotism in Ukrainians who are proud of their country, unite them around the idea of the revival of the nation, and contribute to the creation of a positive image of Ukraine in the world.
The goal of The American-Ukrainian Cultural Center is to show the mutual historical, cultural, economic and political influences interconnecting the United States and Ukraine. It will allow the visitor to get familiar with the early migration of Ukrainians to the United States, their adaptation, and their achievements. It will tell the story of the early American influence on Ukraine from a historical perspective. This exhibit will explain a gap in relations while Ukraine was a part of the Soviet Union, but the major focus was on American-Ukrainian connections, exchanges, and cooperation after the demise of the Soviet Union at the very end of 1991.

Valery Galan - famous philanthropist, businessman and founder of the "Making of the Ukrainian Nation Museum" in Kyiv (Ukraine).
"The history of our country has been altered and falsified many times, but now we can objectively reproduce the real history of Ukraine and its role in the formation of the European community, as well as show vivid historical events and figures that our people can be proud of. Ukrainian stories and traditions are often told through legends, folklore, generational tales, and historical publications. However, a lot has been lost, destroyed, and forgotten... It is probably time to create a national idea around which we can unite all Ukrainians in the world” - Valery Galan.

There are special stands for children in the museum where information is presented in a simple and easy-to-perceive way.
Each installation is accompanied by interactive audio and video content combined with special effects, which immerses the viewer into the atmosphere of the respective era.
Multimodal presentations include dioramas, multimedia stands, screens, maps, holograms, and touchscreens. Media guides are offered in 8 languages. The museum features a recreation area, a gift shop, and photo areas.
