Brooks Trusty

On the morning of Thursday, March 29th, Brooks suffered an epileptic seizure while running water for a shower. As a result of the seizure he fell and suffered numerous injuries. In addition to injuries sustained from the fall itself, Brooks also received severe burns over most of his face and scalp from the water running at high temperatures. Brooks' eyes were badly injured as well, leaving them swollen shut and vision at this point severely impaired. Brooks was then transported by ambulance to Arizona Burn Center, where he spent the next week, spending part of that time in the intensive care unit.

While the full extent of Brooks' burns and injuries are at this point are unknown, he will continue to receive extensive outpatient and specialist care, home health care and rehabilitation among potential surgery.
