Brook vet bills

Donation protected

Brook was found along the road by Nancy Price from Trinity Oaks. Nancy took her to the vet. She is a small chihuahua mix in need of much love and medical help. The vet has performed several tests and said her mouth infection and teeth need serious attention. She needs further serious attention. The vet is optimistic that after some TLC she will be ready for a forever home. She's had a hard life but will be a great addition to a loving family once we get her healthy. Please help by donating to the vet bills asap. Anything you can give would be most appreciated.

Todays update:  Well, at the vet the blood work and fecal matter tests were performed. The doc says she's old, he can't tell how old since the teeth are gone. She is arthritic and has hip and joint issues, getting her back end up is a challenge but she does it. Loosing weight could help with this issue. As for the teeth, there is gum damage and a terrible infection from the gingivitis. The blood draw shows she is a bit anemic but other than that all her organs are functioning just fine. She has a better than average chance she can recover from whatever she has going on so the first step will be antibiotics. This will help combat whatever infection she has going on and allow the Vet to work on her teeth in a week. She is extremely overweight so having her teeth worked on now is a start to a much needed diet.  Despite all she has been through she is still the sweetest little pup you could meet. Her tail never stops wagging when she sees you coming. She can't wait to sit with you and have you scratch her big belly while you unwind from the day. She is very well mannered, has never had an accident, and has met all my other four legged family (2 cats and 2 large elder dogs) with many 'get to know you sniffs.'

I beg all of you who read this, the ones who wish they could take her, (I too can't keep her and need to find a foster or forever home) would you please help by donating to the medical bill we have just incurred, $247.00. You may not be able to have her in your home but you can help her by donating to her bills. Anything you can give would be most appreciated. She's had a hard life on the streets let's make what time she has left better.❣

Dental appointment set for the 17th of Sept. - dental bill is unknown at this time but I was told $300.00 would definitely cover everything. Thank you to the Bulverde Bexar Veterinary Clinic for helping to make her comfortable and giving her what time she has left less stressful and soon to be infection and rotten teeth free!
