Brody's Big Adventure 2018 Surgery

For those of you who are lucky (like I am) to know the Stanley family, know that their determined, sweet and funny little boy Brody has Diastrophic Dysplasia (a form of dwarfism).

Brody is about to turn three (on February 24th) and has already had many procedures (surgery and castings due to club feet, cleft palette repair, scoliosis castings and collars, hearing aids, speech and physical therapy, etc.)

The family is based in Kansas, but flies to Wilmington, Delaware multiple times a year to get the very best care at Nemours A.I. DuPont Hospital. As you can imagine, all the procedures and travel come at a cost.

Right now, they are waiting for a call to find out when Nemours A.I. DuPont can fit them in for Brody to receive inpatient halo traction with a cervical fusion. This is a very involved multi-layered procedure that requires Marcella to be in Delaware with Brody for three weeks and Mike to travel back-and-forth. They'll need to make several more trips within the next year for follow ups.

Let's help offset some of the mounting financial costs that aren't covered by insurance and travel costs, to help them just focus on being a family and helping B get well!
