This is a big year for Brittney. In a few short months she'll be turning the big 3-0! What better way to celebrate a wonderful friend than to go in on sending her to an awesome camp?
Brittney is a pretty big fan of the camps offered at the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center and put on by the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado. Although she's only been to the summer camps so far, she got pretty excited about the prospect of the adaptive ski program they put on.
That's where we all come in. I'm asking that friends, family, community - heck, strangers too - chip in to give Brittney an unforgettable birthday gift.
As you can see, she's had some pretty good times up there (and I have too!)
Everyone stays in that cabin, and walks around the res are pretty much a daily activity.
No surprise that the therapy dog was a big hit!
They have so many different kinds of adaptive bikes! Campers can participate in all the adventure activities - no matter what their ability level.
Brittney is always more than ready to ditch the wheelchair and get on the ropes course!
