Briten Family House Fire Fund
Donation protected
At 11:00 pm on Wednesday, August 30th, the Briten Family house in the Cibolo Canyon's neighborhood caught on fire. Although not confirmed, an overheated laptop battery is suspected as the cause. The fire started in an upstairs room and quickly consumed the top floor.
Thankfully, Jessica Briten and her two boys, escaped with minor injuires, the worse being small 1st and 2nd degree burns. Major Briten, US Army, was away supporting Hurricane/Tropical Storm Harvey relief efforts at the time of the fire. Unfortunately, the house is a complete loss and the Briten Family will be in temporary lodging as they recover from this disaster.
We are asking you to please open your hearts in aiding the family with any amount of donation you can provide at this time. Their two boys ages 10 and 17 lost everything. Funds will be used to replace simple items like toiletries, clothes, school supplies, and immediate necesities.
Our love and prayers are with the Briten Family; anything you can give will help.
