Help our Family Grieve Peacefully

For those of you who don’t know, my mom has become paralyzed from the waist down with minimal movement in her arms and hands. The cause of this sudden onset of paralysis is unexplainable and ill-fated. This has been a year and a half long journey of surgeries, hospitals, and physical rehab facilities. Unfortunately, the journey ended with her being placed in a nursing home to receive full time care.

After six months at the facility we have decided the best place for her is at home surrounded by loved ones. This cannot happen without proper care set up for her. She has until the end of the month to raise enough money for home health care before she is discharged from the facility.

Home health care is expensive, but it is not nearly as costly as the funds it takes to keep her in the nursing home.
