As all of you know that have been following my updates on Mickey Meeks, he is nearing the end of his life! We have had to have those end of life decisions talk! It is important to Mickey to go home for his eternal rest! He would like to be buried at the National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal with a military funeral! There is no life insurance, we didn’t plan well in life, but we have had 43 years together and I am on a mission to make his final wishes a reality! In speaking with Funeral Homes today they said I can expect the final cost to be between 8000-10,000 whew that’s a lot guess we could really use that stimulus they keep arguing about. Anyway there are some Veteran agencies that I have been told will help with some expenses, however with the costs of the funeral, and getting home myself I am going to need some help! I set the goal at $6000 but anything will help get to the goal so if it is in your heart to help, please push the donate button and as always I will post updates daily on this our final Journey
