Title: Bringing Hope to Communities and Refugees in North Macedonia

Legis is a local humanitarian organization based in North Macedonia. Their work is dedicated in making a profound impact to people in need. They support 150 local families at social risk and support over 10,000 refugees that reside or transit the country annually. Their staff daily work consist of: distributing 140 loaves of bread each morning provide monthly food packages and collect and distribute second-hand clothes to local families and refugees. Their teams also work on field in transit-reception centers for refugees on the Southern border with Greece and Northern border with Serbia where they provide humanitarian and psycho-social support, sport and creative activities, monitor & report Human rights violation, offer educational and skills based workshops and many more activities. The goal of this campaign is to increase their impact for more sustainable access to food for local communities living below the poverty line and refugees residing in transit-border reception centers.

Understanding that people living below the poverty line with less than 2 EUR per day and refugees are on the move, cooked food is a privilege they don’t have. With your support and kind donations, Legis will make a prefabricated kitchen which will be able to provide 200 hot meals per day and be able to react swiftly with access to food to refugees and local communities. The kitchen slogan is: “We cook with Love” and share that love trough nutritious food to sustain all people in need.

Me këtë kuzhinë ne duam të shpërndajmë 200 vakte të ngrohta në ditë dhe gjithashtu të reagojmë me shpejtësi gjatë krizave të paparashikuara humanitare. Në këtë mënyrë ne duam të sigurojmë që individët në rrezik social, veçanërisht ata të mbështetur nga Legisi, të marrin vakte ushqyese kur ndihma standarde humanitare është e pamjaftueshme. Me ndihmën tuaj, ne mund të sigurojmë që Legisi të vazhdojë përpjekjet e veta të çmueshme, duke sjellë shpresë dhe ndihmë për komunitetet e cenueshme dhe refugjatët.
