Bring Woody Numbers Back to WV

Woody Numbers, aka Sherwood Spencer was transported to Duke University Hospital two months ago with life threating medical complications. While there has been ups and downs, he is currently fighting for his life.
The only wish that he has expressed to us over the course of the past two months has been his request to return to West Virginia. This way, he can be closer to his family and friends, without the added expense of long trips and hotel stays that put it out of reach for many.
His insurance has deemed his transport back to West Virginia to be "not medically necessary". We know that is not true. He needs to come home.
We need to raise at least $3,000 to bring him back while he is strong enough to make the journey. This is our goal.
Over the years, he has selflessly given fans his blood, sweat and tears and asked nothing in return... He has worked for promoters that failed to pay what he was promised, even after travelling hundreds of miles... He was always the first to be at a friend's side when they were in need. Look back and if he has ever given you the slightest bit of joy in your life, we owe a debt to him.
Now, it is the time for us to repay the favor. Time is of the essence... Any funds raised past the goal will be used 100% on his medical expense and his comfort. There is no amount too small, nor too large. If the worst case happens and we fail to get him home, know that 100% of the money donated will go to his medical care.
Please, let's fulfill his wish and bring him home. We don't know what the future holds for any of us, but this is one thing that we can try to make happen together.
