Bringing Willy to his forever home

This is Willy, a Goan beach dog. We met him last year in Agonda. We think he is about 2.5 years old. He was abandoned as a pup at the end of the season and left by his owner to fend for himself in the monsoon where most most dogs do not survive especially if they have been domesticated like Willy.
When we returned this season we were horrfied to see that Willy had really been through it. He had a big maggot wound on his neck that thankfully the animal rescue treated and judging by his scars we could clearly see he had not been only fighting for his food but for his little life too.
Since our return Willy has not left our side, he his quickly learning to be a very good boy and has so much love to give and is the sweetest pup. After weeks of delibiration we have decided we need to bring Willy home with us. As he was domesticated early on his life, he craves human contact and attention and doesn't have many beach dog friends. He has chosen us as his human parents and the thought of leaving him here for another brutal monsoon which has started earlier than expected is not an option.
The costs to bring Willy to his forever home is expensive and we would be so grateful of any donations big or small, any donations raised over and above our target will be given to ARC the Animal Rescue centre in Canacona Goa who do incredible work here with all animals in need with no government help and rely soley on public donations and without them helping us with the emotional process to get Willy to the UK it would be impossible.
