Bring us home..please

Hi Everyone,

As you know, for the Last 3 years we have been legally unable to leave Spain.

Now due to recent events, which most of you are aware, We can now come home.

COVID UNFORTUNATELY has a plan of its own.

Due to travel caps 37 people a week are allowed into Sydney. Other States less.

Basically a flight leaves Frankfurt once a month. THIS FLIGH IS OCCUPIED BY 37 ECONOMY 12 BUSINESS AND 10 FIRST CLASS Australians.

Government flights only go to Darwin. The cost is 12K for me and 6K for each kid. 24K total. Plus 1K for quarentine and then transport Darwin to Sydney. I have to repay DFAT within 8 months of getting a job in OZ. The repayment is 6K me , 4KJack and 4 K Bella. 14 thousand dollars.

Travél could be June NEXT year

Opción 2 is book my own FULL ECONOMY class tickets obviously refundable and changeble.

Prices seem to be 4,500euro me and 3000 more or less the Kids. Well know exactly how much at the time of booking. THIS Will get us into SYD or BNE.

We then need to quarentine 14 days. EVEN though i'm vaccinated. This cost is 1000AUD. MUST be paid upon check in.

We are very eager to get home , find work, rent and have a fresh start. No amount is too small.

Any amount to help reduce these ridículos costs is a huge blessing.

Some ask why so expensive? The Airlines explain it . The flight from Europe to Oz has a máx of 52 People. The aeroplane retuns to Europe many times with just the crew. The cost of the diésel both ways must be covered....some argue an empty flight uses way less fuel.

It is what it is.

Having been in a 6 month quarentine. We know you are doing it tough. Its not forever. Be safe and get vaccinated when you can. Sadly between 14 and 50 People die DAILY from COVID in Valencia alone.
