Bring The Reinart's Home

I've never started a "Go Fund Me" before, but when you do, they ask you why you're looking for funding.  As I read the choices, I realized so many of those options apply to this family and their urgent need for assistance, love and support.  I hope you take the time to read this and if you're able, lend your love in anyway you can. 

I am starting this for a dear friend and co-worker Heather Reed, whose family has had a rough go as of late.  Her Mom, Nancy was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer last year and has been fighting tirelessly against the disease.  As of this week, Nancy has been placed on Hospice.  Nancy is waiting to be well enough to transition out of the hospital, and into her home to spend her final time with her family there.

As if this time wasn't painful enough.  Last night, the Reinart home, where they've spent their last 40 years together, caught fire and burned to the ground.  Everything they own and have ever owned was in that house and now they have nothing.  Mike, Nancy's husband was in the home when he woke up to the fire. He was able to get out with his life, but not unscathed.  He has burns covering 40% of his body and is in an induced coma while Doctor's assess what the next course of action is.  The family dog was not so lucky and unfortunately lost it's sweet life in the fire that claimed the Reinart home. 

Nancy is fighting for her life in hospice, Mike has a long road of recovery ahead of him.  The funds we are able to raise will go to securing a home for the Reinarts and helping to replace some of the material things they've lost.
