Bring The Marlins Home For Christmas

Hey Guys,

As you know, my parents are missionaries in Lisbon, Portugal. My dad volunteers at the seminary, trains young pastors, leads worship, and plants churches. My mother, develops the children’s program, has the women’s bible study, does accountability with the pastors wives, and so much more. If you have seen my parents at work, they are consistently embracing people and showing them the love of Christ. I am in constant awe of how much my parents can accomplish in just 24 hours, and how much they adore what they do. This being said, my parents are constantly at work. The saying that a missionary never sleeps, well that is definitely true for my parents. They are currently living in a country that only 2% of the population considers themselves a Christian, and only 1.6% of them actually “practice” it. My parents consistently put others lives, needs, money before their own.



Recently, my parents, become empty nesters. Adrienne moved to Germany to attend a boarding school, Alexandra is finishing up Pre-Med at Liberty University, and I am working in Florida. It has been between 2-3 years since my whole family has been together. My parents need a little break from the mission field to regain their strength and need to come home to a community that can pour all the love back into them that they have been pouring out.

My sisters and I are attempting to raise $5,000 to cover flights for both my parents, and Adrienne to come home for Christmas as well as providing them with a new computer. Recently, my parents computer decided it was no longer going to function. A computer for a missionary is very important. Not only is it a way to stay in touch with people and pay bills, but it is also a good tool for ministry, planning sermons, building presentations, etc.



I am asking you to help our family by donating to this GoFundMe to bring my parents and sister home for Christmas and to help them in their ministry with the blessing of a new computer. Our family has not been together for Christmas in 3 years and I would love to be able to end that streak this year.
