Bring the Celtic Knot Public House home again

Dear Friends-

Patrick and Liz here.

As you may or may not have heard, we are working on relocating and reopening the pub in our home away from home, Evanston.

We are asking for your help to install features which would truly make this your local pub - a welcoming sign over the door and a fireplace near the spot where storytelling and Irish music sessions may take place.

We have also come across some surprising and unforeseen repairs and equipment costs.

The additional expenses have left us a bit short of funds. We have applied for all available grants but don't know when we will receive an answer. We have approached banks to cover the shortfall, to no avail.

We are reaching out to you who understand that long-term commitment and investment in community leads to healthy growth.

We promise to continue to make it a priority to give back (charity involvement, donating space for volunteer groups to gather, free live music, team sponsorships, serving those in need, local youth hiring and training... Hooleys...) and to reopen a space for people to connect with open hearts and open minds.

If you can, we would appreciate any help towards the Celtic Knot Public House's reawakening.
