Bring The Castillo Family Home

To all of our family and friends who know and love the Castillo Family...
Michelle and Fernando have worked 7 days a week at 4 jobs between them (both working into the late hours at night Lyft driving and painting houses) for 6 months to give their children their first big family vacation....a 5 day cruise. It was the boys' Christmas present (the tickets were wrapped in a duffel bag with swim shorts, travel gear, cruise stuff, etc).
They left on Friday and had a great day in San Francisco. They were leaving San Francisco to get to the cruise ship when their car broke down (they had just had it serviced and it was supposed to be in perfect traveling condition). The dealership didn’t have anyone working on Sunday who could look at the car so they had to leave it and get a rental to make it to the cruise. They drove as fast as they could for 350 miles to try to make it in time before the ship left...
They got there as the ship was leaving the dock! It was non refundable (2000.00!). They are now in LA with no hotel, no car after tomorrow, and very little money . They planned on spending the next 5 days on a cruise that was going to include all their meals and lodging. They have to wait In Los Angeles until they hear about their car and even then have no way to get back to San Francisco to pick it up.
My sister (their mom) is getting down there as fast as she can to hopefully help them enjoy some of the remainder of their week and see if they can help them get home but even then they are still financially strapped.
If you know and love the Castillos (who doesn't??), and are able to bless them right now, will you please consider joining us and helping them get through this unexpected mess?
At this point they have no choice but to hunker down in L.A. and wait for their car to be repaired (airfare home plus the cost of cancelling the tail end of their trip would run close to $4800) Our goal is a minimum of 2500 for this week to stay in LA and do some good things with the kids so they can enjoy this special family time in spite of everything. It will likely take more after we factor in getting them back to the car and paying for repairs but this is a great start and a powerful way to show them how much we love them all.
Thank you SO MUCH for considering this. Even if you can't give financially can you please pray that all of their needs would be met in abundance and that this vacation would turn out to be even better than what they had originally planned? Thank you!!
