Bring Outdoor Theatre to Hart Park, Wauwatosa!

Bombshell Theatre is a non-profit Milwaukee based theatre group dedicated to spotlighting local talent through extravagant theatrical storytelling.
This summer we have set sights on Wauwatosa's beautiful Hart Park Rotary Stage, where we will be performing an outdoor production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. We see great potential for an annual tradition of outdoor summer theatre in Hart Park and want to provide an event for families to look forward to every year! Our dream is to grow this event to include art, food & drink booths to make it a full experience for the community!
But we need your help! Outdoor theatre is more costly than indoor theatre, and with free lawn seating available in certain sections, we cannot rely on our ticket sales alone. We need microphones and speakers so the whole park can hear us! We need tents, barricades, and outdoor storage units! We need extra staff to help at all the different locations around the stage! Overall, it's twice the amount of work of a regular show, and hopefully twice the payoff for our community!
We have estimated that the costs of this show will be around $20,000. While we may cover part of that with our premium ticket sales, we are not depending on it. As a non-profit every donation will go towards our productions. If we make a profit on this production or more than enough is donated, we will use it for our next outdoor show!
