Hello, My name is Douglas Beattie, I am a Vegan Ultrarunner, a amateur cyclist and a lover of all animals. I have two of the best breed of dogs, Rescues and a rescue cat. I was able to give my dogs and cat a second chance, but there are a lot of dogs who need a second chance for a good life with a forever home!
The welfare of animals is a cause near and dear to my heart. So I am trying to raise money for Bonafied Dog Rescue, a local rescue that has been doing a lot of good work making sure these dogs get the second chance they deserve!
To help raise awareness I am doing a 100 mile race in Kentucky called No Business 100 on Oct 12th. My goal is to ride my bicycle from my house in Darien IL. to the race, approximately 500 miles, run the 100 miles and then ride my bicycle back. I know that may seem like a lot, but I believe the dogs lives are worth the sacrifice.
Please help me to get them a better life, one they deserve also. Please give what you can, any amount is appreciated. I thank you and the puppies thank you!
