Bring my Dog Home from the Vet

On Saturday my dog somehow got poisoned  could be any number of things Poisonous Toads ,Poisonous spiders are big in Florida.  She starting getting sick with green goo in the eyes vomiting, shaking trouble walking and peeing.she started refusing to eat  an drank very little water. Why do These thing seem to happen on the weekends . I took her to the vet on Monday when they were open he sent her home on antibiotics and eye drops she continued to get worst  I took her back on Tuesday they did bloodwork  and xrays said she was inflamed and looked like she hurt her back or something. Needless to say they should not have sent her home in her condition She sould have been put on IV fluids right away they told me to give her hamburger and white rice she could barely lift her head. I know Cassie she always hated hamburger since she was a pup. I tried she totally refused but flinching as if Iwas going to hit her. She had large pupils and wasn't my fun hyper little girl. Instead she found a place to hide buried herself under the doggie bed. I call the next day as soon as they opened. I was upset and said I felt they could have done more for her the day before. That our funds were limited Because just 2 weeks earlier we had Out other fur baby have troubles with her deformities and needed lots of medication for her pain and allergies. It cost us over 800$ I mentioned this on the phone before taking Cassie back in for the 3rd time. I asked if they could at least wave the office visit or something we already spent over400$ in 2 days  and all that money that we spend having 3 dogs who need there flea tick heartworm meds. And always never had a problem with us not having it. I said you know people are struggling right now and I wasnt able to receive a stimulus check.  Please at least a discount they say well I'll have to call you right back to I  have to let the Dr. Know she's getting worse  . Know what they did they called my best Friend Steve and told him we can't do anything else for Cassie you'll have to take her to the Emergency Hospital in Winter Haven. On the way there Cassie Started Having a seizure and peeing I  was so scared. I thought she was dying. We had to call let them know we were there in the parking lot we did they said someone would be out to get Cassie it was al.ost an hour later. I was in tears Cassie was dying in my arms waiting.  I thought this is supposed  to be an Emergency Hospital  I cried. They took her from me and went into the building. Shortly the Dr. Calls talks to Steve asks if he wants them to resesataet  my dog Steve's like we brought her here to save her. Dr says he's gonna take xrays do bloodwork asking him what the history was on Cassie he starts all over explaining.   I grabbed the phone and said ARK ANIMAL HOSPITAL NEVER FAXED HER INFORMATION??? Shes had all of that done already the Dr says No Unfortunately they just said whether breed age a few symptoms.  I had to Leave my Dog Cassie at The Emergency  hospital her heart rate was low her organs where shutting down. They where going to put her on iv fluids and medications there's may be damage to her kidneys because the toxins were high. Potassium level low.  low heart rate. They'll see what they could do . Then We asked how much money we are thinking ok 400$ maybe 500$ or even 600$ to stay over they tell us well before you leave her here we need 1'100 $ deposit then said it should be anywhere between $1'200 to 1'700$ I fell apart. HOW? WHAT? NO WONDER WHY PEOPLE ABANDONED THEIR PET'S.  PROBABLY PEOPLE WHO LOVE THEM TOO. HOW IN THE WORLD DO THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS. Well that was Steve's stimulus check.  Shes my dog and I had maybe 40 dollars to contribute. I was claimed as an Adult dependent I got No stimulus money.  I don't ask people for money$ in Fact some of you who have been having it rough know me to help anyone in need. And what's my response oh God will Bless me back sometime and he always does.  My dear  friend asked us if she could help us that she wanted to. Steve said no,no it's ok I will take care of this I don't want charity.  But after he says I'm going to have to refinance the house. Looks like I can't give you the 200 I was gonna give you or get my bicycle now. Everytime we get a little spending money extra something bad happens. He just had some young girl wrecked his new car. My Lucy's issues with being a special needs dog with double Paws on one side and a extra thin trachea. Started having problems as soon as I won a couple hundred on a scratch off. Poof gone to the Vet. I'm asking for a little donation if you can whatever you can spare even if it's a 1$ so I can surprise steve with at least half of his money back. Then maybe he'll have enough to get his bike so we can go on bike rides. He may be my exhusband  but I'm here,  He's  here and we help each other as we get older.  He's My Best Friend in the Whole World. He does work hard. I'm going to be selling a lot on Market place to do my part. I dont know what the final bill will be. OH Please Help Bring Cassie Home Thanks Love to you all
