Bring Back Family Fun to Crestview, FL!

What is something that Crestview, FL needs? This community needs a place to allow kids to burn off pent up energy, families can have fun, social groups can gather, and kids can enjoy birthday parties with family and friends.. We would like to open up the old skating rink on Hwy 90 and provide a place for the community to come and get out of the house and enjoy the fun of roller skating. The facility has been sitting vacant for sometime and really requires some serious updating. We are hoping to get community support to help us reach our goal to help renovate the space to give the community the type of family-friendly fun it really needs.
This endeavor is going to benefit the Crestview community and surrounding areas. The new skating rink will have updated arcade games, snack bar with yummy snacks along with beer and wine for those parents that want to stay and watch their kids or just hang out with other adults for a break. We plan to have themed nights and hopefully get some excitement going to roller hockey and roller derby teams.
The money we raise here will go towards the following places (not all inclusive):
1) Exterior updates: New parking lot (hopefully can add extra parking spaces), an awesome mural painted on the exterior of the building (will be looking for local artists to help us out), updated signage.
2) Interior updates: renovations of the rental skate counter, bathrooms, updated skate floor repairs. New interior painting and hopefully new skate carpeting. We would love to expand the space to add more features as well. So we plan to do a lot of renovations in stages and based on your feedback.
We really want to provide something for the community and really hope we can get your support to ensure we are giving you what you want. We are really hoping to get feedback and suggestions as I know so many of you enjoyed this same skating rink when you were younger.
If we can get this up and running, this skating rink will be a huge benefit for the community as we plan to stay engaged with the schools, youth and social groups and hopefully inspire some teams to want to start coming and using our space.
