Brigida's Kidney Transplant Fund

Brigida recently was put on a "Hold Status" at UC Davis for a kidney transplant due to the loss of her health insurance. UC Davis is requiring she save at least 5 years' worth of premium payments in order to become active of the list again, and become eligible to receive a kidney transplant. Brigida is currently on dialysis and was devastated to hear she was put on hold for transplant. 

UC Davis requires patients without insurance to prove they will be able to afford the numerous anti-rejection medications she will require after she receives her kidney transplant.
