Brighten Christmas for Families in El Salvador

With the holidays fast approaching, I hope you will consider supporting a charitable project that is close to my heart. Since 2008 I have traveled back to my home country of El Salvador at this time of year to help people who are living in great poverty. Christmas is a day when I want these people to smile. So, I prepare baskets of food and other necessities and I give these to needy families along with some toys for the children, since their parents don't have the means to do so. I fill each basket with the following basic items: 5 pounds of sugar 5 pounds of beans 2 pounds of rice 1 bottle of oil 2 pounds of milk 1 box or pound of coffee 2 packages of sardines 2 packages of macaroni 2 pounds of cornmeal Magui soups of 10 varieties 1 toothpaste 1 scented soap 3 bath soaps 1 bottle of dish soap The cost of one basket with the above items is around $50. Please help me give these good people this simple gift which will brighten their Christmas. All donations are appreciated.
