Brighten Nevaeh's Cancer Journey

CANCER sucks for at any age but a 6 year child should not have to understand or endue what cancer means to her.
On Wednesday June 7th, Nevaeh starting experiencing trouble speaking, trouble with mobility and the left side of her face was drooping. Her parents quickly took her to CMH and after some tests and blood work Nevaeh was sent to McMaster Hospital.
On Friday June 9th Nevaeh’s mother and father were told news that no parent wants to hear. Their 6yr old daughter had a pontine tumour in her brain stem. There is no surgery that can be done to remove the tumour, the only option is radiation and that is not to save their daughter’s life just to shrink her tumour and prolong her life.
As you can imagine the news was devastating.
I am Nevaeh's neighbour, Navy is my 6 yr old daughters friend and I've known the family for 7+ years.
If you can donate anything please do so. Nevaeh's parents are not together. Nick, Nevaeh’s father has taken a leave from work to be there for his daughter and to take her to all her appointments and Alyssa, her mom does not work. All donations will go to help the family with gas, parking, food and anything else needed to support Nevaeh and her family at this time. All funds collected are to make Nevaeh’s life brighter during the course of this disease and any remainder will go to the highly underfunded Childhood Cancer Research.

Please pray for her parents to stay strong and positive during this time and for Nevaeh to endure treatment and with God's help be healed.
